The principal areas of advice for our corporate clients are:
i) Automatic-Enrolment for Workplace Pension Schemes
We can guide you through your options for auto enrolment and help you to establish a qualifying workplace pension scheme in order to meet the legislative requirements. HB Dobbin can also help with the communications to members.
If you already have a pension scheme in place we can assess your current scheme to see if it meets your obligations and advise you accordingly.
ii) Group Pension Schemes
We will discuss your company’s pension requirements with you before making any recommendation regarding a group pension. Once the recommendation has been accepted we can implement the scheme, help with communication to employees and facilitate the member joining and leaving process. We are also able to offer advice relating to the default fund for the pension scheme.
Of course, any pension scheme we establish will be a qualifying pension scheme with regard to auto enrolment.
iii) Investment Advice for Trustees
We advise Trustees on where to invest their trust assets. This follows a similar method to our ‘Wealth Management’ service.
iv) Group Life Assurance and Income Protection Schemes
We can establish both of these types of schemes for you and help you to complete the annual renewal. We advise a regular ‘rate review’ which we can, of course, conduct for you.
v) Keyman / Shareholder Protection
This type of insurance is important to ensure continuity in a business should something happen. We can conduct a full review of the market and establish a policy which is right for you and your business.
vi) Specialist Planning for Directors
It may be that the directors require individual financial planning for example, for tax planning purposes to maximise company pension contributions. Any director requiring advice will become an individual client and have a tailored Financial Plan developed for them – it can be limited to retirement planning if requested.
